Take a quick minute to think about any “pressure” situation you have been in, at any point in your life. Take yourself out of the situation and look at it from an outsider’s perspective. Ask yourself “where did the pressure come from?”
If you look hard enough, or if you allow yourself to look at the situation honestly, 9 times out of 10 the “pressure” came from a lack of preparation.
If you get caught up in a “pressure situation” do your best as a problem solver and critical thinker, this is your best resource. The last thing you want to do is panic and dwell in the “pressure.”
Every situation in life or in work, prepares you for another one down the road. Soak in the experience and learn as much as possible from the situation.
